What wonderful news to start the day!
I woke up to a text from my producer of the March 2026 production of 10 First Dates at the Etcetera Theatre’s Women Writers Festival telling me the play won a Festival Fave Award!
WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!
What an honor!
This is the same publication that nominated the play for its Standing Ovation award, as well as Mark Parsons for his phenomenal multirole performance of all 10 dates. They announce their finalists this Saturday, and although I don’t expect the play to be one of the three finalists, I’m beyond proud that it was nominated in the midst of over 800 fringe theatre plays produced in London every year.
That’s not nothing!
In fact, it’s spectacular! I’m so proud and grateful for this recognition.
