In 2009, I posted something everyday over on our old blog. That is until I got really, really burned out sometime in October. Then in 2010, my posting was very sporadic as I recovered.
Now in 2011, I’ve stepped up my blogging again. For the past several weeks, I’ve been blogging three times a week, and I plan to continue that throughout the year. This post makes it official. I’m joining the PostAWeek 2011 challenge from The DailyPost, promising to post at least once a week.
My planned weekly schedule is as follows:
Mondays: Posts and Commentary on the Publishing Industry. What’s happening. What’s changing, etc.
Wednesdays: Emerging Author Spotlight, started earlier this week with Evelyn Lafont, where I’ll be focusing on emerging authors through book reviews, interviews, and guest posts. This day might also be on writing as a craft and a career.
Fridays: Looking at Social Networking and Marketing as a working author. This will be the place for any personal/professional updates as well.
If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way. Your suggestions are welcome. Topics, books, authors, anything you would like to read about. Please feel free to leave a comment here or connect with me on Twitter/Facebook.
Great job! I, too, plan ramping up my blogging. To do that, I had to figure out how to combine some and what to drop permanently. It was painful, but good.
I will join you!!!!!
Excellent! We’ll keep each other writing. xo
