Announcing the Premiere of Sanctuary at The Hope Theatre, London

I am beyond thrilled to announce that my play Sanctuary will be premiering at The Hope Theatre from 26th to 30th November 2024! This run marks an exciting milestone in Sanctuary‘s journey, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to bring this important story to life in one of London’s most intimate and respected venues.

Directed by Broadway alum Donna King, Sanctuary is a politically-charged and socially-relevant play that explores themes of rising fascism, male violence, and white supremacy. Set in the heart of an increasingly hostile world, the play delves into the relationships and resilience of two women caught in terrifying circumstances. I hope this production will encourage audiences to reflect on the current political climate and the dangers we face when humanity is disregarded.

I’m so proud to have the incredible Laura Shipler Chico playing Cassie and the talented Dominic Weatherill* voicing the offstage male characters. We are currently holding auditions for the role of Amelia and will announce our newest cast member soon.

For those who have been following this journey from the beginning, thank you. Your support means everything to me as we move closer to opening night. And for those just joining, welcome! I can’t wait to share this story with all of you.

While I’m incredibly excited about this upcoming run, the reality of producing a play means there’s a lot of work behind the scenes, particularly with funding. We’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign to help cover essential costs, including cast wages, props, set design, and marketing. If you would like to support this production and help bring Sanctuary to the stage, I’d be so grateful for any contribution. Your generosity will ensure we can give this important story the platform it deserves.

Stay tuned for more updates as we head into rehearsals, and thank you again for joining me on this journey. Let’s make this run unforgettable!
