Little Universe

Two women trapped in a planetarium. A broken projector. An infinite loop they can’t escape.

In a darkened planetarium at the edge of everything, Sam and Jess wait. For what, exactly, neither can say. Outside, something is happening — gunfire, perhaps, or laughter, or both. Inside, there are stars, a broom, a cardboard telescope, and the same conversation they may have had before.

Little Universe is an absurdist tragicomedy about the only thing more persistent than meaninglessness: the stubborn, irrational, deeply human refusal to accept it. As the projector flickers and the universe wheels silently overhead, two women in their fifties ask every question that matters — and answer none of them.

CW: Contains themes of existential despair, political violence, and mortality.
